Between 2015-April and 2026-March FreeCalypso project had a traditional mailing list. That ML had to be shut down later in 2026-Q2 when all FreeCalypso hosting infrastructure moved to a new server with a very different configuration — but the full archive is preserved.
During the months that passed between the closing of the old FreeCalypso ML and me writing this page near the end of 2026-June, I (Mother Mychaela) explored other alternatives, options that would involve adopting some existing web forum platform as an official home for FreeCalypso and Themyscira Wireless discussions. However, after this period of exploration I concluded that none of those options are satisfactory — therefore, my current plan is to revive our old-fashioned Mailman mailing list.
More precisely, my current plan is to set up a new Mailman mailing list (or perhaps multiple lists for FreeCalypso GSM MS, community-run GSM networks and SIM card issues) under themyscira.org domain name, or perhaps one of my older domain names that predate FreeCalypso — however, I don't have a time estimate as to when I may be able to get to it. Not having an official online gathering place for those interested in this family of projects is a real problem — but it is only one of many problems on our collective plate, hence some patience is in order.
